Originally declared pride month by Bill Clinton in 1999, June is a month to recognize and uplift LGBTQ voices. The LGBTQ community and its allies celebrate together with marches, parades and other big events. June also is a time to reflect on the history of the LGBTQ community, the lives lost and the activists who fought so hard for LGBTQ rights. As a part of LGBTQ month there are individual days in June to celebrate and remember various events and members. Some of the big days in Pride Month are HIV Long-Term Survivors Day, The Stonewall Riots Anniversary, Queer Youth Faith Day and more.

June is also home to a lot of other fun holidays that are geared more towards the sexy side of things. Our first big one is June 9th aka. 69 Day! 69 Day, also known as Fuck Day, is a holiday for both you and your partner to enjoy equally together. June 9th is a great day to show your appreciation for each other by performing oral together. If you have never tried to 69 this is also a great opportunity to give it a try. If the benefits weren’t enough to convince you to strip down on the 12th, then maybe just roaming around your home in the nude with not a care in the world is enough for you.
